Digital New Office
Overview
Tracker is a sophisticated practice management system with a full range of features that integrate directly with our ChairSide Suite. The Bridge Network provides professional training programs to ensure that your office is able to take full advantage of all the features available in our software. Our training visits are structured using a four hour session approach, since our experience has shown that the retention level of the information presented drastically decreases after this time period. However, please note that our "Training" sessions consist of more than software training. They also encompass the installation and configuration of the software, as well as having our trainers develop an understanding of the unique requirements of your office. This Training Overview is intended as a guideline only. We often modify the training schedule and the points covered depending on each practice's requirements. Also depending on the computer skill level of the staff, the level of comfort with the items covered and the progress of the session, more or less information may be covered than scheduled. The Bridge Network will be more than happy to accommodate the office with additional training upon request. A recommended "Power Session" is normally scheduled at a later date after the staff has had some time to use the system. This provides the opportunity for us to analyze how well staff is using Tracker, to review some features in further detail and to answer any questions from the initial training sessions. This Training Overview is based on the foundation that your office has a fundamental understanding of Windows.
Pre-Training Video
A 30 minute introductory video introducing the concept of 'Visual Charting' will allow the office to save up to an hour in training time if it is viewed by everyone who will be attending the imaging and charting sessions prior to training. The video will be provided via a private link on our website, or you can request a CDROM.
"Intro" Training Session
It is virtually impossible for anyone to learn and retain the entire program in one training session. However, since it is essential for your office be fully functional with Tracker in a short period of time, this first session generally involves an introduction to all the different functionalities in Tracker. Due to the many topics that must be covered, the training is generally two to four hours in length. The trainer will briefly explain the scheduler, contact management features, financials and the necessary reports. Online training for this session could be an option.
"Live Day" Training Session
A second training session takes place one to two days prior to the office opening. In order that your office get the most out of this training session, it is crucial that all the measures are taken to avoid interruptions. During this training session, the trainer will primarily review all the topics from the first training session but in more detail. It is at this session that we will answer any questions that have arisen since the first training session. If time permits, the rest of the training will be spent explaining the many different tools in Tracker. After the essentials in Tracker are covered, CSI is introduced and briefly reviewed. The trainer will discuss how to take and store images as well as basic diagnostic enhancements. Due to the amount of information this training session is most commonly broken up into two parts. Based on the circumstances that surround the training sessions, the training may be broken up between morning and afternoon training, giving both the trainer and the office a 1hr lunch break or the training may be broken up between two different days. The goal of this session is to provide your office with enough information to be sufficiently functional on Tracker, yet at the same time not present too much information so as to overwhelm your office. This training session is usually four to five hours in length.
The digital X-Ray hardware and native software should be in place before this training session and the staff should be trained to use it by the supplier.
The office will be supplied with Safeguard charts to use until they are fully using ChairSide Charting.
