ChairSide Suite Training

Overview

Tracker is a sophisticated practice management system with a full range of features that integrate directly with our ChairSide Suite. The Bridge Network provides professional on-site training programs to ensure that your office is able to take full advantage of all the features available in our software. Our training visits are structured using a four hour session approach, since our experience has shown that the retention level of the information presented drastically decreases after this time period. However, please note that our "Training" sessions consist of more than software training. They also encompass the installation and configuration of the software, as well as having our trainers develop an understanding of the unique requirements of your office. This Training Overview is intended as a guideline only. We often modify the training schedule and the points covered depending on each practice's requirements. Also depending on the computer skill level of the staff, the level of comfort with the items covered and the progress of the session, more or less information may be covered than scheduled. The Bridge Network will be more than happy to accommodate the office with additional training upon request. This Training Overview is based on the foundation that your office has a fundamental understanding of Windows.

Pre-Training

A 30 minute video introducing the concept of 'Visual Charting' will allow the office to save up to an hour in training time if it is viewed by everyone who will be attending the imaging and charting sessions prior to training. The video will be provided via a private link on our website, or you can request a CDROM.

The digital X-Ray hardware and native software should be in place and the staff should be trained to use it by the supplier prior to the ChairSide Suite being installed.

ChairSide Imaging Training Session

Due to the different hardware that may have to be configured with CSI as well as the amount of information to be presented, the ChairSide Imaging training is often divided into two sessions. The first session will introduce the concept of 'Visual Charting' as well as an introduction to properly acquiring images from different devices. This may include digital x-rays, digital imaging and case presentation. The second training session usually takes place two to three weeks after the first session (and may be done online). Since staff members are much more experienced with CSI by this time, the trainer may discuss much more advanced topics. In general, this session will guide clinical staff members through CSI so it will be used as efficiently as possible yet producing powerful imaging information.

ChairSide Charting Training Session

During this session the clinical staff members are given detailed (Advanced) CSC training for both restorative and perio charting. We use data/info from current patient charts to enter into CSC. The concept of 'Visual Charting' is reviewed.
