Integrated, Customizable Notes and Forms

ChairSide Charting’s fully customizable clinical notes replace the various paper notes found in your patient charts – and much more! Secure clinical notes are always automatically dated and can be classified as either a General Note or a Form. General Notes are simply free form text that can be associated with a provider and/or tooth. You can format the text (font size, colour, bolding, italics etc.) to highlight specific words or phrases. Each practitioner can also be associated with a specific text colour to easily identify their own notes. However, General Notes are often inefficient when you need to enter repetitive information. That’s why CSC lets you create an unlimited number of user-defined Forms that can contain a wide variety of questions and answers. You can create your own custom Forms to use information retrieved from CSC by selecting from pre-defined responses or by simply typing a short response. Using Forms not only makes data entry much easier, it also makes the information you are documenting much more consistent among all staff members. All notes take advantage of Microsoft’s proven voice dictation and our Auto Phrases feature. Auto Phrases “memorize” your personal, commonly-used comments which can then be inserted on demand using the mouse or shortcut keys.

Tracker integration

Not surprisingly, no company can integrate products with Tracker better than The Bridge Network can. Once treatment is created or updated in ChairSide Charting, the system automatically creates/updates the corresponding invoices or treatment plans in Tracker. Moreover, if you are a current Tracker client and implement our charting system, your charts and treatment plans can be populated in CSC by what has been previously entered in Tracker!

Integration with ChairSide Imaging

While in ChairSide Charting, you can easily view all the patient’s digital images or only those images that are related to a specific range of teeth. Optional Camera Icons can be displayed in CSC to indicate whether you have any digital images on a tooth. Thus, if you are in ‘Show Tooth Images only” mode, the image viewing pane automatically gets populated with the tooth/teeth you select. If you want a closer look at any image, simply double-click on an image in the viewing pane and you quickly see the image in full screen mode within ChairSide Imaging!
